Rooted in Dignity Pin Buttons
Rooted in Dignity Pin Buttons carry a statement of racial justice and disability justice in a set of five matching pins. A Black activist’s upward gaze sits at the centre of the navy and goldenrod portrait, framed by “Rooted in Dignity” and “Rising in Power”.
About the design
The woodcut-style portrait draws on the visual language of political prints. “Racial Justice. Disability Justice.” makes its position explicit: dignity belongs to everyone, and the structures that deny it must change. Part of URevolution’s intersectional justice capsule, the design connects racial equity and disability justice through presence, agency and collective power.
