Break The Mold is URevolution’s rainbow-zebra design for people who are tired of narrow assumptions about how bodies, identities and lives are supposed to look. The collection includes T-shirts, hoodies, sweatshirts, tanks, caps, totes, stickers, drinkware, home items and other gifts.
URevolution is an independent disability-led brand. For us, inclusion that leaves out disability and chronic illness is incomplete. Disability belongs in diversity.
Fit and sizing vary by product. Some apparel is tagged unisex, and selected styles are available in extended sizes; other items have a smaller size range. Materials vary too: some products use organic or recycled fibres, while others do not. Check each product page and size guide for current fit, materials, options and availability.
URevolution co-founder Corinne Gray helped bring the Break The Mold design to life, with Alicia Keys’ 2020 song Underdog among its inspirations. The rainbow zebra takes a familiar pattern and interrupts it with colour — a simple visual challenge to the idea that everybody should fit one template.
Today, the design sits inside URevolution’s wider disability-led work: making disability and chronic illness visible within conversations about diversity rather than treating them as an afterthought.
What does “Break the Mold” mean in practice?
Wearing a message can make a value visible. It does not prove somebody behaves inclusively. The Magazine article looks at what the idiom means, why “normal” can be a poor template for disability, and what changing the default can look like in workplaces, events and everyday access.
URevolution is an independent disability-led media, lifestyle and e-commerce brand challenging how disability and chronic illness are represented.
