A Common Place Park Poster
A Common Place Park Poster brings equity, accessibility and belonging into everyday view. Printed on Fine Art Paper, its imagined waterfront park gives meaning to “Fair Takes Different Forms.”
The design
A step-free path and a shorter stair route lead to the same waterfront terrace. Seating and space to pause make access part of the park’s character, alongside its autumn trees and gardens.
Rooted in disability equity, the design makes a wider point about diversity and inclusion: equal worth does not require identical support. Shared places should offer different ways to participate, rest and belong.
The WPA-inspired illustration depicts an imagined park with integrated step-free access; it makes no claim of compliance with an accessibility standard.
