A modern lexicon of all the uncomfortable moments that arise from cancer.
Conversations about chronic health conditions are tough, mostly because we don’t have the right words to say. But, what if there were a whole new dictionary of terms to describe those awkward moments that arise from chronic illness?
Yeah, we thought it would be cool too, so we decided to create a series, starting with this here funny cancer book.
Originally backed on Kickstarter™, Glossary of Awkward™ is a bound volume of quirky cartoons documenting the wildly uncomfortable situations that arise when dealing with chronic illness or disability. The first theme in the series is cancer. Each original cartoon (illustrated by Simon Kneebone), gives a funny take on what not to say when someone says, “I have cancer.”
