Dr. Elena Simpkins
Dr. Elena Simpkins is a queer Black woman powered by anxiety and depression. She holds a doctorate in sport management from the University of Michigan (located in the Midwest of the United States). She was diagnosed with anxiety and depression while working on her doctorate. Since completing her doctorate in 2019, she was has been returning to herself and rediscovering her love for writing, art, and reading fiction.
